I like that it doesnt send your IP address. The search results are very good, a lot of them come from Google.

Incredibly well designed, no bugs and no crashes, simple, private, uses less mb, and it is far superior to the "big guys". So, my question is why are the other search engines so problematic and why do they not respect our privacy even after cleaning? I just kept deleting their app, but I highly recommend his one!

A solid alternative to the now horrible Google app. It is simple, opens fast and loads fast. This is my new search app.

In the spirit of Start Page, and in full disclosure, I honestly dont know if this works as promised. I dont have the technology or the know how to determine whether Start Page is as safe and as non-intrusive as they claim. However, I do believe the Big Boys do steal private info. Therefore, I choose to defer to a safer option of a search engine organization that at least claims to afford me privacy. The Start Page app appears to work as well as the others.

Latest iPhone update has somehow caused this app to consistently crash and return the phone to the main app screen within about 3min. Please fix soon! Also, screen size has shrank and does not fit full screen on iPhone 6plus..... Gotta fix this soon! Its driving me nuts!

An essential app to protect your privacy.

Startpage is my favorite search engine but the app only fits the iPhone 4 screen size, please make it fit iPhone 5,6, and 6+ screens!!!

While normal browsers work, I cannot get sound on Startpage. I have double checked all settings and volume is on and nothing is set to mute. What is causing this?

Very satisfied with StartPage performance as a search engine. I cannot comment on how effective privacy concerns are addressed but I as assume that they are being honest. So I am very comfortable using it as my default search engine.

Good program. Though app can use a major update. Needs to be upgraded to take advantage of the iPhone 6 and 6S screens.

START page is great resource to keep your search terms anonymous and yours. I have used DuckDuckGo and Google for years, but I feel far more confident in StartPage as opposed to the others. The encryption and commitment to privacy has won my allegiance to this app. I hope you find this app as beneficial as I have. And no, Im not paid by these guys. Be well.
